Community Care to Hold Its 8th Annual Behavioral Health Recovery Conference

PITTSBURGH (April 18, 2007) – As a part of its ongoing commitment to support the creation of a recovery-oriented behavioral health delivery system, Community Care, a non-profit behavioral health managed care company, will be holding its 8th Annual Recovery Conference on May 1, 2007 at the Omni William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh. The theme of this year’s conference is “RECOVERY imagine the possibilities…”. The conference presentations and workshops will share tools that people need to recover from mental health and addiction disorders, as well as ways that organizations providing treatment may support recovery efforts. Community Care Behavioral Health Organization Opens DuBois Office to Support the North Central HealthChoices Program

PITTSBURGH (April 10, 2007) — Community Care Behavioral Health Organization, a nonprofit behavioral health managed care company, opened a DuBois office at 480 Jeffers Street on Monday, April 2, 2007. The 7,200 square foot office, which will house more than 25 staff, was established as a result of Community Care’s selection by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) to manage behavioral health services (mental health and substance abuse) for Medicaid members in 23 counties of North Central Pennsylvania. PITTSBURGH (February 22, 2007) —Felicia Stehley, RN, has been named Regional Director for the HealthChoices North Central Program by Community Care Behavioral Health, a nonprofit behavioral health managed care company based in Pittsburgh. PITTSBURGH (January 4, 2007) -- Bradley Stein, the Senior Director for Research, Evaluation and Outcomes at Community Care Behavioral Health Organization, is the 2006 recipient of the Norbert and Charlotte Rieger Service Program Award for Excellence from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
