Physical Health Care Practitioners

Community Care has established an Information Line for primary care physicians and health care practitioners.

Primary care physicians and health care practitioners can use the toll-free information line to call a Community Care psychiatrist with questions about Community Care members related to:

• Medication effects
• Medication side effects
• Diagnostic criteria
• Treatment resources

Community Care psychiatrists are available 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Calls are answered by Community Care Customer Services Representatives. A Community Care psychiatrist will return the call promptly if not available immediately.
