New Technologies in Behavioral Health Care

On a regular basis, Community Care reviews new behavioral health treatment options.  We also review new ways to deliver the treatment options members already have.  Members and providers can call Community Care and ask that we review a new treatment.  When we are asked to review a new treatment our Medical Director meets with a committee.  That committee decides if the new treatment will be recommended as a service that Community Care will pay for.  To make that decision the committee reviews how safe the new technology is as well as how much it could help our members.
