In an Emergency

In an Urgent Situation

  • Call Community Care at the number on your County’s Contact Page
  • Call any Community Care provider as listed in our Provider Directory

In Other Situations

You can call Community Care at any time. We can help you assess your situation and set up appointments with providers near you. You can also contact any provider that’s listed in our directory and set up your own appointment.

For families with teenagers, it’s important to know that services are available to teenagers and that they may get help without telling parents. Teenagers have the legal rights shown below.

If Your Child Is: Then He or She:
Under 14 years old
  • Must have parent or caregiver permission to get mental health services.
  • Can get help for an alcohol or drug problem without permission from a parent or caregiver.
14 to 18 years old
  • Can get help for a mental health or alcohol or drug problem without permission from a parent or caregiver.
  • Can say no to or refuse mental health or drug and alcohol services unless the service is clearly needed. The parent or caregiver may contact Community Care if they have questions about this.
