Autism Handbook and Support Line

A Chester County Autism Handbook has been developed in conjunction with parents, county officials and other relevant stakeholders. The Handbook provides specific information regarding the diagnosis of Autism and related spectrum disorders, the Medicaid process as well as an overview of how to access BHRS (“wraparound”) services in Chester County. For a copy of the handbook please call the Community Care Chester County Customer Service line at 1-866-622-4228 to request a copy.

Community Care Behavioral Health has also created an Autism Support Line for families and caregivers. The Autism Support Line can be reached at 1-866-415-1708 and is available to all Chester County HealthChoices members who have questions about accessing services for children with Autism. All calls will be returned within one business day. Community Care staff can address questions regarding available benefits, services and provider referrals. The Autism Support Line staff have significant experience in the area of Autism and look forward to helping you.
