Best Practices in the Use of Buprenorphine

This report describes the project "Development of Best Practice Guidelines for the Use of Buprenorphine in Opiate Maintenance Treatment," which was conducted by the Institute for Research, Education, and Training in Addictions on behalf of and with support from Community Care Behavioral Health Organization. The intent of this project was to develop a set of clinical guidelines that provide guidance for clinicians and payers in their efforts to improve the quality of treatment services for consumers with opiate addiction.
