Prohibiting Financial Incentives for Utilization Management

Community Care bases its utilization management decisions on the appropriateness of care for each eligible member. Practitioners and other individuals involved in utilization management are not specifically rewarded for issuing denials or for covering care. Community Care does not offer financial incentives for utilization management decision makers at any level of the organization.
