Training Logistics Checklist
Location: Suggestions: Mental Health Centers, Churches, Synagogues, Hospitals, Libraries, Elks Clubs, Masons, VFW Halls – email Saya Krebs and to talk with you about options.
Room Selection:

Room needs to be large enough for lecture area and 3 workstations. Separate rooms can be used for workstations if a large room is not available.
Advertising: Stakeholders to reach out to include: case managers, residential staff, all mental health teams, police, nurses, NAMI groups, consumer groups, Judges, District Attorney’s, criminal justice and substance abuse agencies. You may download the advertising flyer or email Saya Krebs if you need a copy sent to you.
Volunteering: You'll need a minimum of 6 volunteers to manage the workshop.
Equipment:
  • Hearing Voices Training Kit *Note: If you do not own the training kit you may contact Saya Krebs. Some trainers have shared kits and we will post information about all the trainers as the information becomes available.
  • Headsets/CD players for all participants
  • Batteries for CD players (have extras on-hand)
  • Pens, pads for workstations
  • LCD and laptop computer or DVD player/TV for lecture
