Leaders

Community Care employs individuals committed to improving behavioral health services for consumers, particularly persons enrolled in Medical Assistance. To ensure excellence in the management of the company, Community Care has specifically recruited professional leaders who have extensive experience in managed Medical Assistance and public sector services, and staff members who understand local service delivery systems. Community Care has hired national experts in the development of Medicaid managed care programs, along with local professionals from provider and governmental agencies. Care managers are recruited primarily from public sector programs and have several years of clinical experience prior to their employment. All clinical staff members have professional degrees and meet or exceed DPW and other regulatory standards. The peer advisor group includes psychiatrists and psychologists with certifications in their specialties and subspecialties. As with the care management staff, all have substantial experience in public sector work. Community Care commits significant resources toward professional development of its own staff by supporting conferences and educational events, encouraging and supporting its staff in delivering conference presentations and through a vigorous in-service program.
